Brieftons InstantVeg Spiralizer

I've tried out a bunch of vegetable slicer/noodle makers and have to say the Briefton's InstantVeg Spiralizer is by far my favorite. I'm jumping right in to why I loved it! Usually if something isn't amazing I'll just give the facts so my readers can see if it's for them. This post is full of my favorite things about it because it's a keeper in our house!!

The blade is completely out of the way of my hands. No worry of accidentally getting cut. You can see Nolan looking on. He was excited to help turn the handle and make noodles! It's very easy to use and doesn't require a lot of force or pressure to get the vegetables to cut. My first try and I had very little waste with my squash and zucchini and the cit vegetables were all used and not scrap weird shaped pieces I threw out. It makes amazing long ribbons perfect for replacing pasta. My kiddos got excited and ben tried their squash with marinara! That's a big deal!!

Minimal waste

Infuser Water Bottle

Being pregnant I'm drinking a ton of water and only more is to come as we move onto baby phase and nursing. I tried out the infuser water bottle which is BPA free and made from PET plastic. It has a wide mouth opening for filling and easy to use flip top lid.

The first few times I made strawberry and mint infused water which was amazing. My only problem was I drank it too fast and kept refilling so my subsequent bottles weren't as flavorful. Maybe I need to slow down!! Next, I tried cucumber and lime. It's refreshing and cool! The bottle is easy to fill and the fruit/veggie collection area is large enough to hold good sized pieces. If you're looking for a way to spice up your water check out this bottle. It's easily available on Amazon with Prime shipping even.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Animal Trackers Club

The wildlife scientist in me loves the idea of a monthly animal geared activity box for kids. Nolan tried out Animal Trackers Club and was thrilled with it. The best way to describe this monthly subscription service is a cross between a homeschool lesson plan and a pinterest board. It has fun activities like crafts, learning sheets, and small toys.

Nolan's activity set came with a fun field kit (metal type lunchbox) where he stored a lot of his favorite nature finds and parts of the pack. There was much more than would fit just inside the small box though!!

Learning included letters, number matching, and wildlife facts and stories. There were portions that worked best for me to help him along and others her did all on his own. Win, win for both of us!!

This kit actually kept Nolan's interest for a long time and wasn't just toy based which I loved. The above picture was snapped days after he originally opened the kit. It was his brother's nap time which means free use of the electronics and TV. Look what is next to him on the floor being ignored!! The phone and his favorite apps! That's a huge success in my book!

Okay here is the part moms love even more... the cost. Usually the monthly subscription boxes are cost prohibitive unless randomly gifted by the grandparents. Animal Trackers Club is just $11.95/mo with $3,95 shipping. It's geared towards ages 3 and above and was perfectly matched for my 5yr old.
